I do like the new Cypher, I really do, even though it lacks the same dynamic pose of the old one.
There are a couple of little niggles though, I'd have loved the sword to be one piece and separate, and the plasma pistol looks more like a hand flamer, but I've been shown some 30k big plasma guns for Mechanicus and they have the same pilot light type arrangement going on, but the older version looks more elegant and like it's designed to be quick drawn from a holster.
